Alpine Beer Company is bringing back the much loved Nelson IPA. The beer is named after a unique hop variant hailing from New Zealand that gives the beer some of its complex fruity kick, and the first of its kind in America to utilize this hop breed. Historically this has been a beer that spends most of its time off the taps. Low supply does breed high demand though, and much like other great beers Alpine puts out, the Nelson developed a small cult following in its time away from chilled pint glasses everywhere. Due to this demand Alpine has decided to make a push to bring more of this wonderful beer to more IPA disciples and beer lovers alike. That’s why Alpine will be pushing out limited quantities throughout the year as long as supply lasts, in an effort to keep this beer around longer each year. Again these are very limited quantities and not everyone will get it, so make sure to bug your beer contacts about where this beer is going to show up so you can experience the Nelson yourself.
