Leinenkugel’s is teaming up with 94.9 “The River” to clean up the Boise River
Leinenkugel’s has long submerged themselves in their mission to keep America’s water clean and pure. That’s why they are once again teaming up with 94.9 “The River” on their second River Cleanup project on August 17. Members of the Boise community are encouraged to volunteer to help clean up trash that has been left along the Boise River. Trash bags and gloves will be provided, but it is recommended to bring sunscreen and water and wear sensible footwear.
Volunteers will meet at Esther Simplot Park in parking lot #6, by 10:00 a.m. Clean up will run from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Following the cleanup, volunteers are invited to the after-party at Caffé Luciano’s, just across the bridge from the park, which will run from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The afterparty doesn’t just stop at good food – all volunteers will get Leinenkugel’s merchandise, and all volunteers 21 and over will be entered to win a canoe full of Leinenkugel’s brews. The River will also be giving away various concert tickets to lucky volunteers.
